Dr. Helen Malko
Helen Malko is the Program Director at the Center for Palestine Studies at Columbia University. She received a PhD in Archaeology of the Near East from Stony Brook University. She has a degree in Cultural Heritage and Preservation Studies from Rutgers University. Dr. Malko has worked on various archaeological projects in the Middle East, and most recently, she has been involved in an ongoing project that documents endangered heritage sites in Iraq and Turkey and the surrounding region. She has also been teaching in various schools in NYC. At the CPS, Dr. Malko manages the center’s academic program and contributes to its intellectual mission.
