Full searchable archive of the Jerusalem Quarterly—a journal dedicated to the history, present status, and investigative journalism on the city of Jerusalem. Published continuously since 1998 by the Institute of Jerusalem Studies, an IPS affiliate, this journal is made available to readers and researchers by special arrangement with the Institute for Palestine Studies.
CPS makes almost forty village memorial books available to the public. Compiled as documentary histories and based on the accounts of those who remember the villages depopulated and largely destroyed in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, these books are presented as dossiers of evidence that these villages existed and were more than just "a place once on a map."
Edited by Selim Tamari, a compilation of essays on the fate of the Arab neighborhoods and villages of Western Jerusalem that were either destroyed or appropriated by Israel during the 1948 war.
Second revised edition, 2002.
The Maps and Cartography section contains two kind of documents: original maps of Jerusalem reproduced here as a tool for researchers, and links to existing sets of Jerusalem maps—both historical and contemporary.
